PTO for NOTHING

SEPTERMBER 16 TUESDAY , 3:00 AM I had my PTO today... and of course, as expected... the whole day was spent in bed, sleeping for hours and dreaming of all positive things. I wan't to break that kind of hobby especially during my rest days especially during vacation leaves! My golly, I don't intend to file for a leave just to reunite with my bed and pillow... but I can't help it. Since we moved to a bigger house, and the bed we are sleeping in now is much bigger and the mattress more softer.... I can't help myself but to let my back feel the comfort it brings (whatda!) Hay, I went home at around 8:30 am after having an early morning breakfast with Mamu @ Mcdo (thank you Mamu!). Immediately after I got myself on our bed... I have'nt been able to resist it's charm. Icey and Melai's Birthday Celebs at the Agogo

Just two weeks ago, we celebrated two birthdays. Once is Icey's 22nd and the next is Melai's 26th. Both parties are held at Cafe Agogo along Julia Vargas Ortigas Pasig. Besides the fact that Cafe Agogo is just a few blocks away from our office - I think one thing that drives us back to that place is it's cozy ambiance. I mentioned on my previous posts that it is the best place to unwind and have a good laugh with your friends with their low lighted effect and their comfy chairs. The bar is not that crowded and the menu is also affordable. They have what they call "Happy Hour Promo" in which you could get 3 bottles of iced cold San Mig Light or two servings of Cosmopolitan for only a hundred bucks. My favorite breakfast treat Spanish Omelet costs me only P69 with free Iced Tea! Other dishes are also reasonably priced and tastes good as well. My Papa's Confinement

When I first heard that he was hospitalized and has been brought to the hospital, I still havent absorbed it yet. Even though my brother is bombarding me with so many text messages asking me to go to the hospital…I havent. I just told him I’ll get my husband and let him go on my behalf. The reason behind this is because I don’t want to see my father in a helpless situation. I can’t bear the thought that the person who is strong, who normally is the one who helps me in any situation I’m facing is lying there in a hospital bed, not able to do things he normally does. Cannot even speak! It breaks my heart seeing my father go through this…so I told my brother I’ll go when he’s feeling okay already. I know deep in my heart he’ll recover …so I plan to visit him on his third day. Upon seeing him, we both cried.
