Update Update

After two years, I'm back on this blog! Thank God I was permitted to go on Maternity Leave three weeks before my actual delivery (yes I am now 8 month pregnant finally!) and I was given a chance to update my blogs. Do you know that I have a total of 37 blogs all in all? Haha. I really would like to update all of them so I have created a to do list everyday to what blog I will update for the day. Really miss those times when blogging has been a bread and butter of mine for almost two years. I wonder if there are still sites  that pays for reviews but I will just cross the bridge when I get there. The goal right now is to update each and every blogs I have (the more blogs, the more opportunities), update it for almost three months to get a high PR and get as many writing opportunities as I can. Now that I will soon be a mother, I need to save as much as I can for her future. Though my hubby now has a work as an Uber driver, I know it's still important to be able to save for the f...

Thank You for My Father's Life Lord

Phew, we just had our Final Practical Exam yesterday and continuation today. I really pray I was able to pass with flying colors. I don't want to retake the exams anymore especially that asked my superior if I could go half day today as my father has been rushed to the hospital this morning. I received a text message from my younger brother that he's been confined to a hospital somewhere in Sampaloc Manila. Since it's our final exam today and I can't take a leave off work - I just asked my husband to go to the hospital to check my father's health situation. It's already the third if not the fourth time he had a stroke and whenever my brother send me a text message - I always nearly die in I pray he won't have another one. Good thing, I just received a text message from my brother that my father is now doing well. He can now sit down and speak. You don't know how relieved I was upon learning that. God is good all the time. He still gave me a chance to m...

Invading SM Fairview

Image
I've been very excited to go home last Wednesday as it's our last shift for the week! Met my hubby at Alimall Cubao as we'll gonna go to SM Fairview today to have our weekly bonding with my mom. This week, we decided to watch eat out and watch a movie. We normally spend our bonding day at Trinoma/Landmark because it is just one FX and one tricycle away from our village. It is definitely easier and more convenient commute experience if we spend the day there however, we've decided to change our route and try strolling in SM Fairview. Anyways, it's just two jeepneys away from our house and we're sure that transpo is available even if we go home late at night. Anyways, we met mama at the foodcourt at around 2:30 PM. She is in high spirit as she received a text message from my sister Ate Neng from Singapore informing her that she already sent her montly allowance just earlier that day. I was surprised to know that Ate also sent me P4K! She used to give me P4K mont...

My Mom's Birthday Celebration @ The Landmark

Image
Today is my mom's 6th birthday! Good thing, I was allowed to go on a leave for two days as I literally beg my Supervisor haha! That's the reason why he is still my favorite Sup - he is so understanding and as long as there is no real impact in the center, it's OK with him. I hope all Supervisors/Managers would be like him. Very warm, intelligent and funny. Anyways, since I'm free the whole day, I went with my team for a breakfast cum chikahan at Wendys Emerald Avenue. We talked about a loooot of things. We stayed there for about 3 straight hours just talking about one topic. I'ts very sensitive so I will just keep my mouth shut about it - but it's really interesting. :) I texted my hubby to come and just see me at Trinoma mall as well gonna celebrate mom's birthday. Texted mama as well and she agreed in meeting us there. I took MRT to avoid traffic and from Ortigas Station to Trinoma - it only took me 15 mins. Yey! Saw Jojo waiting for me on the entrance...

Farewell Malentod!

Image
Yesterday I've met with my bestfriends Malen and Ruthie because it's like Malen's last few days here in Manila before she goes to Singapore to try and see her luck. We've been talking about this for quite sometime now and I didn't realize she would have enough courage to pursue it. I know she's brave and independent so she will definitely survive, unlike me who's been so dependent on my hubby I can't even commute alone! Anyway, we met at Eastwood and had our lunch at Seafood Island. It'll be on me and Ruthie as our farewell treat to dear Malen. We had a lot of fun chicka as usual and I've brought them up the good news that I have been given a different task in the office. I've also learned that Ruthie was already promoted as a Supervisor so it's really some sort of a celebration for all of us. For all the good things that happened to our professional career and to our life in general, but before we went to eat lunch - Ruth gave us a pre...

Borough Brekky

Image
August 25 Saturday Afternoon 5:22 PM I was about to get ready to go to work as my shift tonight will start at 8:15 PM however I feel I need to blog about what happen to my day in a daily manner to make it a habit. So here I am documenting important things that happened earlier. I and Icey was invited  by Mark Yu, our batch mate (actually I forced him to invite us) for a quick breakfast at Borough Podium. I've never heard of the place but Ice told me its cozy. So after our shift,we went directly to the place and yes it is, the place is indeed cold, cozy and class. Mark is already waiting for us inside. The reason why he will treat us for breakfast is because he was promoted as a Quality Specialist. Well, I was shocked to know at first that I was not even asked to be interviewed for the same position. As far as I can remember, I passed my application last February and haven't heard of any openings yet. However, I've learned that the position are already being offered ...

On Our Seventh Year

Image
Today marks Jojo and I's 7th anniversary. It's been a while now since I've come to live with the best man I've ever known. Time flies so fast and here we are on our 7th year still in love...and with the same intensity as it was before. I know you are not a perfect partner, there are even times before when I felt I don't think we are for each other. But you proved me wrong and stood by what you have promised me before, that you'll gonna love me no matter what and you'll gonna stay by my side until the end of time... and we are still living up to that promise till now. Jojo, I know I am not a perfect lover as well. When I think about how I treated you in the past, I can't help but cry in dismay and regret. You don't deserve being treated like that and because of  that realization, I promised myself that I would support you in whatever endeavors you want to take. I would support you as a loving wife supports his husband. Our relationship right now migh...

Jojo's 34th

Image
Yesterday was Jojo’s 34th birthday. I really intend to celebrate it with him that’s the reason why I applied for a vacation leave week before this day. I almost forgot that Jojo’s birthday is on March 29 and since I was not able to file for a vacation leave in advance, I asked my supervisor if he could have it plotted manually. Good thing, the manual PTO was granted. Anyways, we woke up at around 9am, still not decided where to celebrate his birthday… I browsed through the net and found this restaurant in Timog called Tramway Buffet that offers “eat all you can buffet” for only P205! I was able to find so many blogs giving positive feedback about this resto so we were excited to try it. The venue is just near our place so it’s not hard for us to locate it. Although it’s already 12 NN, the buffet table is still empty. The server said that there has been some minor problems earlier that’s why they opened late today. She said it would just take around ten to fifteen minutes of wa...

Kirsten's Birthday

Met my highschool friends again last Friday, March 11. Actually, the birthday celebrant Kirsten texted me a month before for her birthday and I promised her that I would be there. The day before the celebration, me and hubby went to Landmark/Trinoma to buy a shirt that I will wear specifically for the occasion and I already bought gifts for her. Strangely, on the day itself...though it's my restday...I feel so "tamad". I really planned of backing out since my friend Odette will not come since she does have work now in a call center as well. Luckily, when I texted my friend Pipa...he agreed to meet up with me so we can go together to the party. I've learned that his new boyfriend will come along with us. We then met up at GMA Kamuning MRT station where I was accompanied by my hubby. We will then go to the party together which will be held in Faustinos Grill in Timog. I'm thrilled to see my classmates I've never seen for almost sixteen years maybe? I'm so ex...

It's My Bestfriend's Birthday!

Today was supposedly my bestfriend's 31st birthday! It should've been a happy celebration, only if the celebrant  is alive. I missed our kuitan and the kainan session in their house. She never failed to invite me to join them in every celebration, whether it be her birthday or her family's. I really miss her. Just recently, I had the chance to meet with our fellow high school friend Odette. Michael our gay barkada wasn't able to make it. If Divine is still alive, I bet it would be a happy reunion indeed. I felt loneliness at that time because I've realized that it's not as happy as it was before. I missed her. I also lost another friend Maricel which is also a part of our barkada. I fondly recall what we call our group, the B-MEN. We called ourselves BMEN because B is the starting letter of our tukso sa isat isa. We are 5 in the group, Divine who we fondly call Bunganga.., Marcicel was called Buto, Jhoanna who we call Bungal, Micheal which obviously was a Bakla ...

Janice Is Back!

Image
I, with my college buddies, met last Thursday because our Janice who just came from Dubai had a vacation. We haven't seen her for the longest time so since it's my off, I with my best buddies Ruth and Malen met with her. We first had our videoke session at Redbox ...I was surprised that they do have this promo for P99 per 2 hour vedioke session which lasted from 6pm to 8 pm. It's such a fun bonding as we also made a video of ourselves singing the hit song of lady gaga "bad romance". LOL. You could just imagine how we laughed so hard and how tired we are after doing that video. hahaha. After our videoke session, we strolled around and ate at  Sumo Sam ...we ordered a boodle meal that they call "The Fight". We ordered "The Arena" which comprises of gyoza, beef yakitori, oyster teppan, mixed tempura, chicken teriyaki, tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi, yasaitame, and Japanese fried rice. This sumptuous meal serves four people. I love their oyster teppa...

Team Building the Prophet's Way

Image
I will make some changes on my bl0gs and I decided to make this one my online diary. I would take note of what's been going on with my daily life and hopefully I could show to the world how God was able to help me cope up with all the challenges I face in my everyday life. Join me in my aim to conquer my own life battles and walk with me while I experience God's love and grace in my life. Hope I can somehow touch at least one's life with this blog and inspire him to wholeheartedly entrust his life to the one true God. MARCH 1,2009 Monday Last Monday was a great time for the team prophets to bond as we had our team building at Lancaster Hotel Shaw Blvd. We booked for their largest room where we enjoyed the luxury of enjoying a 3 room unit. Since I had a shift prior to that day, I need to go home first and rest while my other teammates already headed to the hotel as early as 2PM. I need to go home and fixed my things and of course, I need to have my much needed rest...

Marriage Made In Heaven

Image
I've always dreamed of having a wedding of my own someday. To be able to submit myself to the man God has ordained for me. To be able to celebrate our love with the people who are dear to us and to be able to make a pact before our Creator that we would continue to love and cherish each other until our last breath. Hey, just thinking of that gives me excitement beyond words.... Well, I think being married with the man you love is every woman's dream. Having someone who would take care of you when you get old gives you assurance that whatever happens in the future - it would be bearable knowing you have someone to share the burden with... you have someone to lean on during tough times... She is the singer - he is the dancer...both are serving God with their talents for God only knows how long. They've known each other for years but never imagined themselves being involved with each other. I am not really informed on how their relationship blossomed into something special...

Icey and Melai's Birthday Celebs at the Agogo

Image
Just two weeks ago, we celebrated two birthdays. Once is Icey's 22nd and the next is Melai's 26th. Both parties are held at Cafe Agogo along Julia Vargas Ortigas Pasig. Besides the fact that Cafe Agogo is just a few blocks away from our office - I think one thing that drives us back to that place is it's cozy ambiance. I mentioned on my previous posts that it is the best place to unwind and have a good laugh with your friends with their low lighted effect and their comfy chairs. The bar is not that crowded and the menu is also affordable. They have what they call "Happy Hour Promo" in which you could get 3 bottles of iced cold San Mig Light or two servings of Cosmopolitan for only a hundred bucks. My favorite breakfast treat Spanish Omelet costs me only P69 with free Iced Tea! Other dishes are also reasonably priced and tastes good as well. I once tried their Rosemary Chicken with Iced Tea for P169 and although it's not the best roasted chicken I've ever t...

3 Celebrations in A Week!

Image
Grabe, last week was so busy for me as there are so many things to celebrate for us. I myself can't believe that I attended 3 tomaan sessions with my friends in a week. It's indeed a week of fun, laughter and lots of bottles of beer! We'll the first time was not really planned. Since our shift before was from 4am to 1pm - we would normally go out after shift during paydays. We would treat ourselves with lunch at Gale and would have a bottle of beer or two. But since we are now on night shift (from 10 pm to 7am) - we decided to just wait for our salary till 10 am and just spend the time wating in a bar, and most of the time it would be @ Cafe Agogo along Julio Vargas Ortigas. We would just chill and order a bucket of san mig light and order our favorite breakfast Spanish Omelet. As I mentioned on my other post, I love Cafe Agogo because of their comfortable chairs, cozy bar, dim lights and the food! They do have a promo everyday from 9am to 11 am where 3 bottles of San Mig...

BONGGANG BONDING MOMENT W/ FRIENDS @ RED BOX!

Image
Grabe, after a very hectic day @ the office - here we are "destressing ourselves" (wat a term, hahaah) and decided to "loosen'up" @ Red Box Trinoma. The eight of us melai, ice, mamu, john2, imee, the newly recruit "dee" and myself went to Trinoma right after our shift. Were learned that there's a promo for only P399+++ which includes a buffet of lunch and a videoke session that could last for 5 hours. Unfortunately, the promo is only available till 12nn. So we just opt for a three hour session promo for P199++ consumable and we just ate @ Kenny Rogers for lunch as the room would be available only after an hour. The whole experience was really enjoyable as we were able to bond, laughing at the corniest joke there is and making "okray" each other the whole time. Right after lunch, we headed straight to our gimik destination and we really had a blast! Hahaha. The room is so "high tech" and at first we had some difficulty navigat...
